About me
I teach history and a bit of Irish at a secondary school outside Galway. Fourteen years. I still like it, which I'm told is unusual at this stage. I buy milk from a man whose daughter I taught. This is mostly lovely and occasionally suffocating, and it's the reason I'd never been on an app before — the thought of a fifth-year finding my photo stopped me every time.
What I'm like
Quieter than I am at work. Teaching uses a version of me that's louder and more certain than the real one, and by Friday there's usually nothing left of her. Saturdays are for the sea and not speaking to anyone. I laugh easily. I hold a grudge badly — I've forgotten what annoyed me within a day, which my sister finds infuriating.
Who I'd like
Someone kind who isn't boring about it. A person with something they care about, who wouldn't mind that I go quiet for a day now and then and it means nothing at all.
