About me
I brew. Small place in , four of us, mostly bitters and one stout that took me six years to stop fiddling with. I did fifteen years in logistics before this and I don't miss a minute of it. I read labels When you make something people put in their mouth you get twitchy about claims. I read labels. I ask where things come from. It makes me tedious in supermarkets and useful in an argument.
Outside work
I walk. Not hiking, walking - Peak District, same six routes, no summit required. I've a dog called Bess who has firm opinions about which of the six we're doing. Sunday is the pub with my brother and has been for eleven years. I'm divorced. It was a long time ago now and it was mostly my fault in the ordinary way - worked too much, noticed too late. I've done the thinking on that. I'm not carrying it about with me, but I'm not going to pretend it didn't happen either.
What I'm after
Someone with their own thing going on. I'm not looking to be anyone's project and I'd make a poor one. I'd like to be the person you tell things to at the end of the day. That's about the size of it.
